I saw him at Irwindale...serious bad luck. Advanced to the Top 16, but blew the engine giving Daigo Saito a by run.

Go. Even if it's just a local event. FormulaD has become a lot like F1 when it comes to drama (of the non racing variety). Also like F1, it's still fun even with the drama.

They don't advertise it much anymore, but the pits are open. They mix the pits in with the vendor booths, and everyone is free to walk around. I think that's one of the best parts. You can't beat walking around and seeing the guys prepping the cars for the next round. It makes it kind of crazy, you're looking at a t-shirt, then all the sudden there's a drift car revving it's engine behind you making their way to their trailer. It really makes you feel like part of the action.

I've got to edit something together, but I shot a lot of video while I was out there. I'm going to post something as soon as I can get it done.
